PAKISTAN: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has appointed Muzzafar Ahmed Mirza as its new commissioner, for a period of three years with immediate effect.
Muzzafar previously served as the chief prosecutor and executive director of the SECP, which he joined in 2012. His contributions included leading the law division of the commission, advancing regulatory frameworks for digital assets and developing the SECP’s regulatory sandbox.
