PAKISTAN: Dr Kabir Ahmed Sidhu has formally assumed charge as the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. The new chairman’s key priorities include broadening the investor base, promoting new listings and innovative financial products, revitalizing the non-banking financial company sector, expanding insurance penetration and advancing the commission’s digital initiatives, the regulator said.
