GLOBAL: Islamic retirement funds expanded steadily in Q3 2025, with the IFN Investor Funds Database seeing total AuM rising to US$19.64 billion from US$15.46 billion in the previous quarter.
Turkiye led the quarter’s momentum, with total AuM increasing from US$13.2 billion to US$17.11 billion as its pension ecosystem deepens. Malaysia’s share grew from US$574.3 million to US$633.4 million, while Luxembourg’s expanded from US$64.2 million to US$139.9 million.
In the UK, Shariah pension funds total AuM rose from US$449.9 million to US$504.1 million. Pakistan saw a hike from US$401.2 million to US$442.19 million, and Ireland rose from US$254.9 million to US$289.5 million.
Thailand posted a smaller increase from US$5.66 million to US$6 million. Kenya’s total AuM remained largely unchanged at around US$510.4 million.
