Welcome to the IFN Investor Fund Database. Below is a comprehensive guide to help you navigate and utilize the features of our platform effectively.
1. Table Overview
The data table on the website displays information for Islamic funds, encompassing 25 columns of varying data such as AUM, fund type, asset class, domicile, returns, Shariah advisors, and trustees.
2. Filters
There are 7 filters available to refine your search:
- Fund Company (Type in the company name)
- Country
- Region
- Domicile
- Type of Fund
- Asset Class
- Open/Closed
3. Clear Filters
Click the "Clear Filter" button to reset all applied filters and return to the original state of the data table.
4. Show/Hide Columns
You can customize which columns are displayed in the table using the Show/Hide columns button.
By default, all checkboxes will be marked and displayed. To hide specific columns from your view, simply uncheck the corresponding checkboxes. Conversely, to show hidden columns again, check the respective checkboxes.
5. Row Selection
Choose how many rows you want to view per page:
- Click the "Show" dropdown menu on the top right of the table.
- Select from options such as 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, or 500 rows per page.
- By default, the table displays 100 rows per page with pagination for all funds.
6. Sorting
An arrow will appear on the header of the column that is currently sorted.
- Alphabetical Order: Click on the top red row (likely the Fund Name) to sort alphabetically.
- Ascending/Descending: For numerical data, click on the relevant column header to sort in ascending or descending order.
7. Fund Details
a. Full View: Click on the red icon located on the left side of the Fund Name to open a window displaying comprehensive details about the fund.
b. Fund Company Directory: Click on the green icon located on the left side of the Fund Company to open a window showing the directory of the fund company and all funds provided by the company.
8. Fund Fact Sheet and Prospectus
Upon clicking the red ‘LINK’ button located on the left side of the fund name, a separate window will open containing detailed information on individual fund facts. Alternatively, you can click the Fact Sheet or the Prospectus button to view the document provided by the company.
9. Find in the news:
Upon clicking the green 'LINK' button located on the left side of the fund company's interface, a separate window will open, presenting all the funds offered by the company, along with relevant news accessible via the 'Find in the news' button.
