MALAYSIA: UK-based Islamic fintech company Wahed will be launching Wahed Ventures, its crowdfunding platform, in Malaysia in May 2024 after it secures the approval of the Securities Commission Malaysia, the company said at the KL20 Summit 2024.
Wahed Venture aims to attract over RM237.3 million (US$49.63 million) in venture capital for Malaysian MSMEs and start-ups.
