CANADA: TD Direct Investing’s online asset broking service WebBroker added a Halal-friendly filter to enable investors to search for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that align with Shariah principles and socially responsible investing. The filter aside, WebBroker is to aid investors to build a diversified portfolio of ETFs, stocks, options, bonds and more in both Canadian and US markets, said TD Direct, a unit of Canadian bank group TD.
