MALAYSIA: The Malaysian Waqf Foundation, or Yayasan Waqaf Malaysia (YWM), is planning to introduce a Waqf-linked Sukuk as part of efforts to diversify funding sources for Waqf projects, reported Utusan Malaysia. The instrument is expected to support initiatives in education, health, economic development as well as environment and social sectors.
