MALAYSIA: AHAM Asset Management launched the AHAM AIIMAN World Series - Global Multi Asset Income Fund, which seeks to provide investors with capital appreciation and regular income over the medium- to long-term period. Investing in Shariah compliant equities, Sukuk plus derivatives for yield enhancement and downside protection, this fund’s exposure across North America, Middle East, Europe and Asia comes from having a minimum 85% NAV invested in the Franklin Shariah Global Multi-Asset Income Fund. There are five currency classes pitched at sophisticated investors – in the US dollar (entry = US$10,000), Singapore dollar (SG$10,000), Australian dollar (AU$10,000) plus in either Malaysian ringgit or ringgit-hedged (RM30,000). This fund aims to have monthly distributions.
