NIGERIA: Alpha10 Fund Management, a financial services provider, has launched a Halal investment fund to expand financial inclusion and provide ethical wealth management solutions for Nigerians, reported News Agency of Nigeria.
The fund will provide investment opportunities for underserved segments of the population and carries a minimum investment requirement of NGN1,000 (US$0.73). It also includes a mandatory 90-day lock-in period before withdrawals can be made.
Alpha10 said the fund is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission and held in custody by United Bank for Africa. The company also plans to introduce a mobile app to improve access and customer experience.
