MALAYSIA: BIMB Investment Management has launched the BIMB Opportunities Fund, which is a Shariah compliant fund focused on small-cap stocks listed on Bursa Malaysia, with a target fund size of RM50 million (US$12.31 million) this year, reported Bernama.
The open-ended fund will provide annual returns of between 8% and 10%, subject to market conditions and is primarily targeted at retail investors.
The ringgit-denominated fund will be offered with a minimum initial investment of RM500 (US$123.14) and will identify growth opportunities among smaller listed companies.
