SINGAPORE: Southeast Asian digital finance platform Funding Societies, which features Shariah investments as part of its offerings, received US$25 million in equity investment from the Cool Japan Fund. The Japan sovereign wealth fund will further partner the platform to help Japanese companies overcome challenges when entering new overseas markets – especially Funding Socieities’ markets of Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
