INDONESIA: The Indonesian government is set to offer retail Sukuk to individual investors through its online platform e-SBN. The offering includes Sukuk Tabungan Series ST014T2 that carries a two-year tenor and Green Sukuk Series ST014T4 that carries a four-year tenor, available for purchase from the 7th March 2025 to the 16th April 2025.
Issued under a Wakalah contract, these Sukuk are non-tradable and the minimum investment is IDR1 million (US$61.21), with a maximum limit of IDR5 billion (US$305,950.34) for Sukuk Tabungan and IDR10 billion (US$612,089.77) for Green Sukuk. Both Sukuk will expand retail investor participation and promote financial inclusion, while the Green Sukuk will help finance environmentally sustainable projects as part of the 2025 State Budget.
