GLOBAL: The IsDB, in its capacity as trustee of the Global Islamic Fund for Refugees (GIFR), signed a donor contribution agreement with Qatar charity to deliver sustainable Waqf-based humanitarian aid in support of forcibly displaced individuals across IsDB member countries.
Through the agreement, Qatar Charity is contributing US$10 million as Waqf, augmenting the GIFR’s reach and socio-economic impact in the regions that need it the most, through investments in education, healthcare and community empowerment.
