GLOBAL: Indonesia's Komite Nasional Ekonomi Dan Keuangan Syariah (KNEKS), or National Committee for Sharia Economy and Finance, and Oman's Concordia Group, an investment company, have agreed to explore cooperation in Halal and sustainable investment partnerships following a meeting in Muscat.
The parties agreed to map Indonesian Halal-certified hygiene and paper manufacturers for the supply chain of Concordia’s subsidiary Dhofar Global. They also agreed to jointly scope pilot agri-tech projects with another Concordia subsidiary Hassad Agricultural Investment, focusing on water-efficient fodder production and integrated livestock management for smallholders.
