MALAYSIA: The Malaysian government is improving efforts to develop its Islamic finance space and attract Russian investors through cross-border initiatives led by the Securities Commission Malaysia, reported Bernama. According to the Ministry of Finance, planned engagements include an exploratory visit to Central Asia in 2026 or 2027 to expand the internationalization of Malaysia's Islamic capital market and promote the export of Shariah advisory, consultancy, training and capacity-building services.
