MALAYSIA: Malaysian Islamic funds posted a steady 2.84% quarterly AuM growth to US$49.1 billion as at the end of Q1 2026, IFN Investor Funds data show. This is despite a 29.49% decline in the cryptocurrency fund AuM and 2.63% contraction of the equity fund AuM. On a year-on-year basis, the overall AuM grew by 26.46% from US$38.82 billion in Q1 2026. There are 612 public Islamic funds in Malaysia, according to the IFN Investor Funds Database.
