GLOBAL: Islamic funds in North America contracted by 2% quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) to US$213.08 billion in Q1 2026 following a 2.44% AuM decline in US commodity funds and 0.74% drop in Canadian equity funds, according to data captured by IFN Investor. The North American Islamic funds market comprised of 35 funds split at eight in Canada and the rest in the US, as at the 31st March 2026. Despite being only two, US commodity funds command the lion share of the total market at US$198.37 billion, followed by Islamic equity funds at US$12.36 billion (up 4.68% q-o-q) across 15 vehicles.
