GLOBAL: OGold, a Shariah compliant gold and silver-backed superapp, has secured an investment from Plug and Play Ventures, a venture capital firm headquartered in Silicon Valley. The newly acquired capital is earmarked for OGold’s expansion strategy including the global rollout of its app in international markets to capture demand for digital precious metals, the company said.
