GLOBAL: Total valuation of the 72 Shariah compliant ESG funds tracked by the IFN Investor Funds Database stood at US$1.86 billion at the end of 2025.
The bulk of these ESG funds were from the Asia Pacific region, with 46 invested in equities for a total AuM of US$625.34 million, nine in Sukuk worth US$528.79 million and two in mixed assets valued at US$135.95 million.
Europe has 10 ESG funds invested in equities worth US$430.97 million in total AuM plus one with US$35.52 million in mixed assets.
The Middle East rounded off global Shariah ESG offerings with four funds invested wholly in US$104.61 million worth of equities. The UAE also saw the debut of the only new ESG fund launch last year in Q4 2025.
