UK: Standard Life, a retirement solutions provider, has launched the Standard Life Sharia Universal Strategic Lifestyle Profile, a fully Shariah compliant pension option for members of its workplace pension schemes. The offering was developed in partnership with HSBC Asset Management and Franklin Templeton, with iConsult Africa having been appointed as the external Shariah adviser.
The pension option includes the Standard Life Sharia Growth Pension Fund and the Standard Life Sharia At Retirement Pension Fund, which incorporates a Sukuk allocation through the SL Franklin Global Sukuk Pension Fund.
