MALAYSIA: Sunway Treasury Sukuk (STSSB) has on the 15th March 2024 issued an Islamic commercial paper (ICP) worth RM170 million (US$36.25 million) that carries a three-month tenor and an Islamic medium-term note worth RM100 million (US$21.32 million) that carries a three-year tenor and a 4.14% coupon rate, according to separate Bond and Sukuk Information Exchange filings. Kenanga Investment Bank was the lead arranger for both papers. The ICP received a ‘MARC-1 IS(cg)’ rating from MARC Ratings.
Separately, STSSB has on the 18th March 2024 issued an ICP worth RM150 million (US$31.87 million) that carries a three-month tenor which received a ‘MARC-1 IS(cg)’ rating from MARC Ratings. Kenanga Investment Bank was also the lead arranger.
