GLOBAL: The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) allotted US$10 million for the World Health Organization (WHO) to implement the Health Impact Investment Platform – which aims to reinforce the health system, especially in low- and middle-income countries and in underserved communities. The grant is for WHO to design the most impactful health projects, which will serve as the foundation for co-investment by multilateral development banks.
