MALAYSIA: The Labuan’s Islamic Digital Asset Center (IDAC), launched in 2022, is projected to achieve US$1 billion in Shariah and ESG-compliant digital assets by the end of the year. Bernama reported Labuan Financial Services Authority director-general Nik Mohamed Din Nik Musa as saying the IDAC now hosts four Shariah compliant securities tokens and nine listings on Labuan’s digital exchanges – with digital assets now collectively valued at US$820 million.
