MALAYSIA: Maybank Islamic Asset Management is aiming to help corporate and institutional investors better manage their cash and liquidity management needs with a Shariah compliant solution that could potentially generate net returns of up to 3.8% per annum. The Maybank Islamic Strategic Income Fund will invest 30% of the fund’s net asset value (NAV) in ringgit-denominated Sukuk and up to 70% of the fund’s NAV in liquid assets of Islamic money market instruments and Islamic deposits – with 45% of the fund invested in Maybank Islamic’s General Investment Account.
