QATAR: The General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs of Qatar has signed an MoU with Qatar-based Islamic fintech company Wahed MENA to launch a pilot project for an AI-powered Islamic investment platform.
The project involves the development of a system to classify and analyze shares in the Qatar Stock Exchange to evaluate their Shariah compliance, Qatar News Agency reported.
